SUMMARY:Murphy Historical Society Meeting March 21
DESCRIPTION:The March 21 meeting of the Murphy Historical Society will be h
 eld at the Murphy Community Center at 205 North Murphy Road. Guests are in
 vited to attend.  Please RSVP at murphyhistorical1@gmail.com in order for
  us to plan for the meeting and bring ample food. \n  \nSample foods from
  the 1920s era will be served from 6:30 PM till 7:00 PM. Dishes will be pr
 epared and served by various Murphy Historical Society members. The meetin
 g begins promptly at 7:15 in the Homer and Marie Adams rooms. \n  \nThe pr
 ogram consists of a number of couples from Murphy and other communities wh
 o meet on a weekly basis and attend dances at various local senior centers
 .  They will perform a Two-Step\, Waltz\, Polka\, and Charleston.  These d
 ances were popular during the Roaring Twenties and early part of the ninet
 eenth century. The audience is encouraged to participate in voluntary inst
 ruction of the Charleston at the end of the program.

  generate excitement and attendance at the 1920s Murder Mystery Dinner The
 ater sponsored and fundraiser by the Murphy Historical Society on April 1\
 , 2023\, at the Bridgemoore of Plano at 1109 Park Vista and FM 544.  Ticke
