 len Dr.  \nAndrew Jr. Boy first toured with Freddie King’s Thunderbird ban
 d in 1966.  Later\, Andrew Jr. Boy became part of Bobby Patterson’s Mustan
 g band\, which included performances on Patterson's single releases.   In
  1973\, Jones re-joined King's backing ensemble and played with him until
  King died in 1976.  His 1979 single\, "Blame It on Me"\, was hugely succe
 ssful in Canada and the UK.  Andrew Jr. Boy performed locally during the e
 arly 1980s\, backing R.L. Griffin and Hal Harris\, before finding regular
  work with the legendary Johnnie Taylor.  In 1988\, he joined Katie Webste
 r on her iconic 1988 Swamp Boogie Queen album\, and for ten years\, he bac
 ked Charlie Musselwhite both in live performances and on his albums.  \nIn
  1997\, Jones issued his debut solo album\,  I Need Time \, via ISP Record
 s.  This was followed by  Watch What You Say  (Rounder Records)\, Jr. Boy
