“Let’s Go to the Hop” is co-sponsored by the Murphy Historical Society and the Murphy Parks & Recreation Department.

The Sock Hop is on March 19, 2024, from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Murphy Activity Center at 201 North Murphy Road. The Playlist includes 1950s Top Hit songs and typical dances such as the swing, stroll, bunny hop, waltz, hand-jive, swing, twist, and free style.

Participants may wear 1950s attire and take a free picture with your camera in the Photo Booth. The activity is appropriate for young adults through senior citizens. Water will be available for dancers.  Registration is free through the Murphy Parks & Recreation Department.
