The St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry in Allen, TX will offer a comprehensive review of its Crossroads Career(R) "fast track" curriculum at its weekly Wednesday morning meeting on December 3.  The "fast track" curriculum is based on the seven-step series for the Crossroads Career Network Program, a nationwide Christian-based job-search process.  The new format - which has been offered three times during 2014 - consolidates the seven-step series into four three-hour workshops to speed up job search success.  The Wednesday, December 3 comprehensive review will enable participants to fill in and complete any topic areas they might have missed during one of the earlier sessions.  Three representatives from the Practice Interview Team (PIT) will also provide opportunities for mock interviews.

"We have been very pleased with the success of the Crossroads Career 'fast track' curriculum.  As 2014 draws to a close, we want to provide our participants with an opportunity to review all the material covered - and ask any new questions they might now have - in a single session. Moreover, we want to offer the extra bonus of mock interviews with the PIT Crew," said Jack Bick, St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry volunteer coordinator. "We would also like to encourage interested parties who have not as yet participated in the 'fast track' curriculum to attend our December 3 meeting as a means of helping them decide to make a commitment to one of the four-week sessions that will be offered during 2015."

The Wednesday, December 3 comprehensive review workshop on the Crossroads Career "fast track" curriculum will be held at St. Jude Parish in Allen, TX from 9 AM to Noon.  The seven steps and their corresponding topics to be discussed will be:

Step 1---Upward - Hear & Follow God's Calling

Step 2---Attitude - Reach Forward

Step 3---Aptitude - Discover Your Best

Step 4---Altitude - Target Opportunities

Step 5---Searching - Seek to Serve

Step 6---Sorting - WOW Interviews

Step 7---Selecting - Walking in Good Works

St. Jude Catholic Church is located at 1515 N. Greenville Avenue, between Exchange Parkway and Stacy Road.  Attendees should park in the northeast lot and use the entrance closest to the three flag poles.

In addition to speakers and presentations at weekly Wednesday morning meetings and Saturday morning seminars, the St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry offers training in job search skills, support groups and job hunting resources.
