Festivities will include music, balloon artistry and, of course, lots of food.

DENTON - It's time to celebrate. It's been a year since longtime restauranteur Ali Kohandani took over ownership and management of North Point Cafe at 2000 W. University Drive in Denton. The breakfast and lunch establishment will celebrate with a party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. The public is welcome.

"We will have great music, a balloon artist and great menu items, including pancakes, burgers and a host of other great food choices," said Kohandani, who also owns the DoubleDave's Pizzaworks franchise at 220 W. University Drive in Denton. "North Point also has a full bar and newly renovated community room that can host 70 people comfortably."

The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. North Point is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays. For more information, go to https://www.northpoint-cafe.com.
